Why I Started Stretch Accounting

I chose the name “Stretch Accounting” because it embodies my vision for what accounting services should be. The word “stretch” has multiple meanings that resonate with our mission:

My Journey
From a young age, I was captivated by the stories behind businesses. This passion led me to pursue a Bachelor of Business, become a Registered Tax Agent and Certified Chartered Accountant. But it wasn’t enough to just crunch numbers. I wanted to make a real difference in people’s businesses and lives.
So after six years of working the accounting industry and completing my qualifications, I started Stretch Accounting to break away from the old-school, reactive approach of traditional firms. We’re more than just your accountant – we’re your dedicated growth partner. We’re committed to building long-term relationships where we celebrate your wins and help you navigate the challenges. Our aim is to ensure you have clarity on your numbers and confidence in your business decisions.
